MemoryScape 2.0 introduces a new and simpler token based licensing model. Essentially, like MemoryScape 1.0, it remains platform specific however now, each process that MemoryScape attaches to (or monitors) requires a single token. For instance, if you are checking your binary for memory leaks on a Linux x86 platform and expect the main process to fork seven additional processes, MemoryScape would need a Linux x86 license with a minimum of eight tokens.
For users who are interested in using MemoryScape on applications comprised of heterogeneous platforms, MemoryScape Plus can provide a platform independent solution. Feel free to contact sales@totalviewtech.com if you have any questions on our platform support or if either MemoryScape or MemoryScape Plus can help your organization with dynamic memory management issue detection.
