View Full Version : Problem with OnMovedCurrentCell

12-04-2011, 04:41 PM

I am trying to use OnMovedCurrentCell to trigger some action depending on which cell is going to be entered. But the nRow and nCol values I receive in OnMovedCurrentCell are the ones of the cell that's being leaved. That's not how the documentation describes it should be. Also GetCurrentCell returns the indices of the old current cell, so obviously OnMovedCurrentCell is triggered _before_ the current cell has changed, not after.

And I can't see any other way to catch the fact that focus has moved to a new cell.

Thanks for any help!

P.S: I use ObjectiveGrid 12.0.3 and compile with VS2008.

You posted this quite a while ago. Did you ever figure it out. We found that OnMovedCurrentCell is called when the current cell changes as a result of a mouse click but not as a result of using the up/down arrow keys. Which isn't very helpful. Haven't figured out how to get around it.
