Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anybody had a version 8.5 or 8.0 update available for the PV-WAVE context syntax files for nedit, TextPad or jedit.

I would be most interested in jedit, because I am using this editor myself.

Cheers,
Stefan

Stef,

For JEdit, you can modify the pvwave.xml file yourself if you want an immediate update for PV-WAVE synatx highlighting. For example, if you have JEdit installed in C:\Program Files\jEdit, then in C:\Program Files\jEdit\modes look for the pvwave.xml file. If you want to add a new function name to be highlighted, just look in the list of alphabetized <KEYWORDS> and add the name in. The next time you start JEdit the changes will be in effect.

You can do the same thing for nEdit (the .nedit file) and TextPad (in the .syn file).

So the real question is: what are the additional functions added in PV-WAVE 8.5?

An editor syntax editor file for UltraEdit would be nice if anyone has one or a link to one.
Thanks.

Here is UltraEdit syntax file for PV-WAVE, you can append the contents to your wordfile.txt file.
