What do I have to do to get VTK to work?

Where are the triangulation routines in v7.5?

vtkINIT initializes the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) system.

Optionally, you can use vtkINIT, /Print to initialize the VTK system and sends the output from the spawned Tcl/Tk shell to PV-WAVE and displays it in the console. This command is very useful for debugging purposes.

The VTK convenience wrapper routines such as vtkSURFACE, vtkAXES, etc. do not require the vtkINIT command since these routines do that for you, for example:

WAVE> LOADCT, 5
WAVE> vtkSURFACE, DIST(200), Shades=BYTSCL(DIST(200))

You can access the VTK triangulation routines by using the vtkCOMMAND routine to send VTK commands directly to the Tcl/Tk shell, for example:

WAVE> vtkINIT, /Print
WAVE> vtkCOMMAND, 'vtkDelaunay2D del'
vtk: vtkDelaunay2D del
del
WAVE> vtkcommand,'del SetTolerance 0.001'
vtk: del SetTolerance 0.001

Hope this helps get you started.
