Hi

http://www.absoft.com/Products/Libraries/imsl.html
reads

The IMSL Fortran Library bundled with Absoft compilers for Windows, Mac OS X,
and Linux is directly available from Absoft. For Windows, the Absoft Pro
Fortran Compiler Suite with IMSL is only available for single users on single
systems up to 4 CPUs. For Linux, the Absoft Fortran Standard Compiler with IMSL
is only available for single users on single systems up to 4 CPUs. For
Macintosh OS X, the Absoft Pro Fortran Compiler Suite with IMSL is available
for single users on single systems and will soon be available for floating
users, systems greater than 4 CPUs, and Clusters.

it this specific to ABsoft? or an IMSL limitation on x86_64 linux machines

Thanks,

Tru

This limitation is actually a licensing restriction on the bundle only. The Absoft compiler and platform can handle more CPUs as well as IMSL running on x86-64 environments. If you would like to purchase a product enabled for larger systems, please contact a Visual Numerics account manager.
