I have developed an code editor using SECEditView.

How to implement comment/uncomment selected block in the editor?

Also I would like to know if right shift/left shift can be implemented?

It was a fix for crash to very large XML files in file SECEditLangConfig.cpp, line 2042, that caused the problem with comments coloring. You can just revert it back to
LPCTSTR lpszLookAhead = _tcsinc(lpszStartChars);
and rebuild libraries.
