The recently announced Google Go language (home page (http://golang.org/), Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_%28programming_language%29)) has been making the news this week. As a C style language that has been compared to Python, we are watching its progress.
If you have any interest in using Go in numerical analysis applications, we'd love to hear about any details. We would also like to know about any use cases or requests where the IMSL libraries could be useful in this new programming framework.
