ReplayEngine has been tested against and works with MPICH2 on linux-x86 and linux-x86-64 using the socket based communication channel. Shared memory communication channels are not supported yet (see FAQ on shared memory). To launch your MPI program you must use the New Program dialog's Parallel tab to define your program's parallel parameters. ReplayEngine with 'classic mpi launch' (ie. totalview mpirun -a ..., mpirun -tv) will not work.
