    execute string limit

What is the limit for the number of string characters that the EXECUTE function may accept, if any? I called it on a very long string and it did not return a status of true.

If you try to make one big command string at the command line you are limited by the max length of a wave command (2047). But if you create the command in steps using concatenation and then pass the variable 'command' to execute then the length of command would be limited by the max allowable wave string length. The limit used to be pretty small, but I can't seem to hit it now. I just made a string with over a million characters and it didn't complain so I guess we have effectively eliminated that limit at some point... which version of WAVE are you running?

Ok, then the limit I mentioned above (2047) is correct for that version of PV-WAVE.
