    stringray compilation

    Hi,
    Is it possible to compile the stringray library by setting wchat_t as "not a built in type"?.

    Regards,
    Sujeesh

    This is done with the /Zc:wchar_t- compiler switch in the makefile. Look in the makefile for the library you're building, and for your version of Visual Studio. For example, if you're building Objective Toolkit with VS2010, open ...\Src\Toolkit\BkEndMak\bldback10.mak.

    Look for this:

    #
    # Flags specific to ASCII or Unicode:
    #
    !IFDEF UNICODE
    CHARSET_CPP=/D"_UNICODE"
    !ELSE
    CHARSET_CPP=/D"_MBCS"
    !ENDIF

    Change it to this:

    #
    # Flags specific to ASCII or Unicode:
    #
    !IFDEF UNICODE
    CHARSET_CPP=/D "_UNICODE" /Zc:wchar_t-
    !ELSE
    CHARSET_CPP=/D "_MBCS"
    !ENDIF
