Beacon is a code name for the first release of the new UI we are developing as part of the Lighthouse Project.

Beacon is intended for C/C++ developers working on Linux.

It focuses on providing a modern debugging experience with strong Thread Debugging, C++ features like STLView and C++View, and reverse debugging using the ReplayEngine capability.
