    running on Ubuntu

    I've used TotalView just fine on Fedora in the past. Today I just installed my student version on Ubuntu (16.04), but it won't run. Any ideas on what the problem is? It installed just fine and I receive no errors when I try to run it. But nothing happens. I have no clue how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

    After stumbling upon ~/.totalview, I removed it, uninstalled my prior installation attempt, reinstalled, and it works now. No clue why that was a problem, or if it even was the problem, but it's solved.
