PV-WAVE version 2016.1 is released for general availability.

PV-WAVE – helping developers overcome the common challenges in analyzing complex or extremely large datasets! This release again focuses on image format updates, additional platform support and addressing customer-reported change requests.

The key points for the PV-WAVE 2016.1 release include:
  • Introduction of a PHOTO_* set of routines for improved image file format support
  • Significant DICOM image format performance improvements
  • Added support for larger image sizes (12-, 16- and 32-bit)
  • Added support for series of images
  • Added Mac OS X 10.10 as a supported platform
  • Transitioned primary Mac OS X compiler support to Clang v7.0.2
