tv-installer: cannot connect to X server

Hi,

During installing Totalview, I receive this the error :

mpiuser@dhcp16198:~$ ./totalview_individual.2018.1.12-linux-x86-64.sh
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing TotalViewInstaller.......
Host PLATFORM = linux-x86-64

I used this command but did not work and show this error:

mpiuser@dhcp16198:~$ env DISPLAY=ntk-vnc1:86 ./totalview_individual.2018.1.12-linux-x86-64.sh

Host PLATFORM = linux-x86-64

Please help me to solve this problem.

Hi,

Some of users which are defined in Linux, do not have graphical mode to support graphical program.
You must switch user to those that have such ability.
