    Question about pv-wave gui and eclipse plugin

    Hi,
    I am starting to use pv-wave plugin for eclipse and I am having some trouble with plot window. Whenever I am executing a pv-wave code, even with a simple plotting (see code), the plot window is not responding at all, but it displays the plot.

    pro test
    x = findgen(2000)
    y = sin(x * !pi)
    plot, x, y
    end

    I have some more code with pv-wave widgets and it does the same. Please advice any work arounds or solutions.

    I am using Eclipse 3.4. PV-Wave 9.0

    Thanks
    Ash

    The problem with the plot window is a known issue. However, there is a workaround for the widget applications. For more tips and known issues on PV-WAVE Eclipse plug-in, refer to <VNI>/wave/bin/plugins/Tips.txt file. Here VNI is your main PV-WAVE installation directory.

    WIDGET DEBUGGING DOESN'T WORK WITH WWLOOP,/NOBLOCK
    WwLoop,/NoBlock begins another event loop that complicates
    debugger event handling. If you use WwLoop,/NoBlock
    in your program, you will not be able to stop in
    breakpoints in widget callbacks.

    To work around this problem, use WwLoop
    (or WwLoop,NoBlock=0) instead.
